Just watched Mtn.goat and Ridgerunner describe the Cohos Trail on NH Public Television. It was a fabulous program and they represented Pittsburg in fine fashion. Good job. It makes my wife and I all the more anxious for our first trip to Pittsburg this summer.

I missed the evening broadcast, but I taped the 1am replay. We just watched it. Pete was very at ease on camera and did a great job. But we are a bit perplexed here. We never realised that Lainey had a mute twin sister Or did one of those pesky cats actually get her tounge?

That's funny right there. I don't care who you are I'm sure that was just editing. There is no other logical explanation for a quiet Mtn Goat ;D ;D ;D ;D No I don't - sorry. But here is a transcript of what Mtn Goat had to say: " "

HEY WAIT A MINUTE! I feel like I'm being picked on here...
The way the Real Story went is this: I was supposed to give a talk in the Nash Stream Forest on Women Hikers...it was to be up at Cathedral Meadows...but because of the rain, no one wanted to hike out there...so when we got to the Nash Bog where the dam burst back in the late 1960's, they asked me questions about things I knew nothing about - so yes, they did edit my response "'duh' - don't know nuthin bout dam breakin'"...
So wise-guys - I did get my wish that they'd edit my response - So There!!!!!

Ha! Funny you should mention that Flatlander because on my way to work today I was thinking the same thing!... That would've generated a discussion for sure! and they would've needed more than a half hour !

Hey, thanks for sending me a loan copy of the video/DVD. It arrived yesterday and Sally Ann and I watched it while eating our Spaghetti-Os, Tatter Tots, and Kool-Aid. What a treat. It doesn't get much better than that. Views of God's Country while eating the best food ever put on earth. Whew, It is almost too much to take. ;D Seriously, a great program and makes me chomp at the bit to get back up there and back out into the woods. I am going to watch it a couple more times before I send it back. Any way to get a copy for myself?
