Antler Meet
Friday, February 6, 6:30- 8:30pm, FREE
Join NorthWoods and the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Conservation Group for a rare Shed Meet and learn about the thrills of ‘shed hunting’- the search for the dropped antlers of Bull Moose and white-tailed deer bucks. A number of shed hunters will have their biggest and most unique racks on display and a certified shed scorer will be on hand to score your find. Any type of shed, skull or trophy rack is welcome. I saw you put this on the shed hunters forum. I didn't think it was the same MtnGoat but obviously it was. I'd love to bring the shed up to get scored, it has finally gotten to where there is only a slight odor. Mrshood says we can't bring it in the house until it stops stinking ( I guess a 600 mile in the vehicle was enough for her for a while ) until then I guess it has to stay in the barn. I want to see pics I love looking at racks. Last week at Mrshoods' hairdresser a fella walked in with a 200" deer he killed in Kansas. By far the biggest Whitetail I've ever held in my hands

Hydiseka - Send up some good photos and measurements (especially of the paddle) and we'll take them with us... my photos didn't really show the width of that thing!

I did a rough score with some help from Hawkeye (from the shed hunters forum) and came up with approx. 67 4/8"

The measurements were 34 3/8" tall 16 5/8" wide 10 points...-1 for non-typical point 7 4/8" circumference

great pictures MtnGoat I wish we could have been there. It always amazes me how it's the same species but no two grow the same and I know the pictures don't do them justice
