Hey, I just started the thing! I am working on my first "column" which I will post on Sunday night . . . and new columns will appear every week - usually on Sunday evenings. So stay tuned.
And greetings to all from chilly Florida the day after Thanksgiving. It was a rather grueling 13 hour/800 mile trip down here to Gainesville on Wednesday, and then two hours to Tallahassee yesterday AM and back here later last night. A quiet day today and then we are off to the Tampa Bay area for the weekend. Another rest day in Gainesville on Monday and then the drive back to Maryland next Tuesday. Sunday's blog column will talk more about the Florida adventure so check it out. Woodman

Please be patient with me. I am still on vacation in Florida you know and have infrequent access to a computer. We return home tomorrow (Tuesday) and after that I will be back to the routine Unlike "Mountain News" which is a daily affair (kind of ;D), my new "blog" will actually be a weekly column and each week I will address some topic (this week will be about the Florida trip). I will post the first one sometime this evening (Monday) and they should appear every week on Sunday PM or Monday AM (hopefully with photos from time to time. (It is cold down here in Florida this AM.)
